Our Lady of Lourdes Respect Life
Mission Statement

Our Lady of Lourdes Respect Life education seeks to actively promote renewed respect for the sanctity and dignity of human life. It is our prayer and hope to reach out with love and charity to the community, our parish family, and the individual human heart. We will:

Support organizations that provide assistance to: women in crisis pregnancies and those who are seriously ill or dying and their families. Work earnestly in our public life to bring about a cultural transformation in our laws and institutions in ways that defend a culture of life.

Advance pro-life positions within the parish community and deepen the respect and understanding for the rights of those who are unborn, seriously ill, or otherwise vulnerable.

Promote communal and individual prayer that storms the heavens for justice and mercy forming zealous men and women who are prepared to defend The Gospel of Life.

‘May the "people of life" constantly grow
in number and may a new culture of love and
solidarity develop for the true good of the
whole of human society.'
-Pope John Paul II,
The Gospel of Life, no 101
